Since the inception of Collectors Custom Furniture back in 1982, it has always been a concern of mine regarding the environment. It is very comforting in knowing that the furniture we build will be cherished and held onto for many decades to come.

In the construction phase in the shop there is virtually no wasting of material. Using veneer is very environmentally productive, ensuring the most mileage out of a log. Most of the finishes we use are water based. Any other materials such as staining rags, are recycled and cleaned.  Any small salvageable woods and plywoods are picked up by hobbyists and used in their workshops. Other waste materials are disposed in the safest manner possible, and any other recyclable products sorted out.
